八月份己接安省政府通知, 本人(由耆暉會提名) 於十月廿九日榮獲安省盼發20年義工獎。為 時接”新世紀酒樓”負責人來電告知酒樓大裝修並保留舞池 ... 將於十一月中旬開業，誠邀我們能首舉辦舞會，並給予特價優惠；為此己訂十一月廿四日舉辦慶祝舞會。

日前接耒電告知因裝修部份圖則問題，需延期至明年一月…

為此我們改了在十一月廿四日(星期日) 於耆暉會一站式服務中心舉辦 慶祝舞會 (*詳情請參閱海報) ，備茶水小點供應，歡迎自攜食物, 食堂開放；當日門票收入全數捐贈耆暉會。

６月２８日的籌款活動，是為萬 錦市多福醫院添置一台MRI(磁力共振機）用途。今次活動的成功，除獲團隊導師:Dodo Wong, Hilda Ku, Maria Miu , Winnie Ho 及 導師 Regina Cheung 贊助場地外；團隊導師 Elsa Lee, Vincee Wong, Winnie Ye 赞助食物，Tommy So 再次赞助音響設備；各位義工的協助，下列八位客席老師幫忙领舞:Betty Lee, Cecilia Tang, Kip Lo, Larina Motamedi, Maphine Shum, Regina Cheung, Teresa Cheung & Yvonne Tam ，同學們及排舞好友踴躍購票，歌舞籌款表演；各同學及各界好友的捐款，成就超额完成這項善舉，共同為社區出一分力！

再次感謝您們的善心支持；特別鳴謝 Iris & Eric Chan, 追加善款＄1,000元, 令今次活動共籌得＄11,000元。

很高興和您們分享我的喜悅！本人很榮幸獲選為2018年度 [紅楓傳奇人物] 六位得獎人之一。並於九月六日（星期四）於烈治文山市喜來登酒店新聞發報會 > 新 聞稿(中文) ， 新聞稿(英文) 將刊登各大報章，OMNI TV News - Cantonese， OMNI TV News - Mandarin；重溫 900人 9小時 慈善馬拉松排舞活動 ；同時為孟嘗會及紅十字會籌得善款 。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApDX7d2p0C4

由2000年舉辦至今歷屆獲獎共有118位社區人士:-

巧合的是: 其中二位獲選者皆與我們排舞團隊有關聯.., 第二位章曼慧醫生是 Maria 及 Winnie Ho 的學生；第四位黃 黎沅纖女士 是團隊老師 Vincee Wong 的媽媽， 真是傳奇中的傳奇 !!!

本人被邀請出席第21屆四月七日星期六(金水仙慈善晚宴) 詳情請閱附 件， 該晚宴為「加拿大防癌協會」www.gdecco.org 歷年的籌款活動。

宴會中每年皆有唱歌表演籌款，鑑於未能帶動活動氣氛；浪費大型舞池，所以邀請我們參加晚宴，並於指定唱歌環節時, (由我帶領) 帶動嘉賓跳排舞!

各位同學：

時間過得很快，五年前的”十五週年慈善舞會”猶如昨日… 轉眼間又快要慶祝我在排舞界的二十週年了，為此一如過往；[跳出愛心；舞出善金] 己定於四月廿一日〔星期五〕於世紀酒樓舉辦又一慈善舞會，今次受惠機構為 (耆 暉會)。謝謝您們的大力支持；全部飧券己售罄。

因座位有限，向來籌款亦不願縮細舞池...如閣下未能出席，歡迎隨意捐款。

我與團隊導師感謝同學們皆共襄善舉，施受皆福！ 今次並加設歌唱籌款環節，請向各導師查詢∕登記 。

各位同學:

本會與耆暉會合辦安省撥欵的免費65+長者運動排舞班，由以下三位導師Elsa Lee, Maria Miu 和Yuki Cheung 等任教於烈治文山兩間社區中心、教會及萬錦市朗豪坊FCCM，每小時一班，共十六班。

上列各班 皆有指定於每小時上課中；半小時運動、半小時簡易排舞，耆暉會與本人之共識，己於政府存檔備份。唯Yuki任教四日共八班中大部份時間均以運動及拉筋為 主，及重叠兩班運作，並不符合上列概 定共同標準.... 但其部份學生己接受以往的習慣運作，強烈要求Yuki出外開班解决目前的矛盾，為此本人同意並作下列調動和安排， Yuki 任教各班至四月廿八日止，其在外所開各班，皆與本人及本會無關。 

(1) Bayview Hill C.C.:- 由四月十八日[星期一] 起六月廿八日止， 

    逢一、二 10:00-11:00 /11:00-12:00 - Instructor: Elsa Lee 

(2) Langstaff C.C. :- 由五月三日[星期二] 起至六月廿八日止， 

    逢二 11:00-12:00 / 12:00 - 1:00 - Instructor: Maria Miu 

(3) Langstaff C.C. :- 由五月五日[星期四] 起至六月廿三日止， 

    逢四 11:00-12:00 / 12:00 - 1:00 - Instructor: Hilda Ku 

*上列社區中心均於暑假期中全部停止 , 至九月份勞工節後開課，並於六月尾於班 中公佈九月開課日期。 

(4) FCCM :- 逢三、四 10:00-11:00 /11:00-12:00 - Instructor: Maria Miu 

    逄三、四並於暑假正常運作。

多謝各位蒞臨参加本人的慶生及紅宝石婚紀念舞 会， 同月亦為孫仔Logan的生日月份；時間飛快；轉眼一歲了，如各眾祖輩一樣，祝孫仔快高長大，根基長養！在此並祝一月份生日的同學、各界好友四季平安，福 壽安康！

感謝團隊各導師及成員的籌備，綵排表演、安排特別節目等共同努力，並得DJ Tommy 的配合， 同學及家人等協助；當晚流程暢順，舞會圓滿成功，各位皆盡興及分享喜悅！

* 烈治文山灣景山社區中心的帶氧排舞運動班己 踏入第五年，一月起星期二及五共同更改及指定課程，星期一如常不變。 除續辦星期一及二65+ 的免費(需出持安省醫療咭) 長者班外，加開星期二及四的排舞初、中班。請参閱時間表及網頁！

新作品《踩踩踩》為慶生及適合送馬迎猴而作的排舞；歌詞很有意思， 配合舞步，願為各舞者開運祈福，吉星拱照！

各位同學:

由於成本高昂；排舞活動從來未有機會安排在酒店宴會廳舉行。

現ＹＭＣＡ, 柏麗獅子會及 安省華人健康联盟於五月卅一日晚上於喜來登酒店舉行逾500-600人的籌欵晚宴； 現由柏麗獅子會支付全部酒店日間所有開支費用，誠邀我們在同日五月卅一日的中午；舉辦一個五小時慈善排舞舞会， 以每票30元 ( 包三文治及小吃 , 荼水供應。*酒店宴会廳規定不可自携食物及飲料進內) 参予此項活動。

今次日與夜的宴会亦是為六月份共四星期的 "女性健康活力展"活動的揭幕, ( 附海報参閱 ) 詳情將於五月底於电台及報章通告。

請各位一如過往 , 大力支持 , 盡早向各導師購票；並体驗第一次(可能是唯一的一次 ) 於酒店舉辦的排舞聚會。

本年度暑假班己接續於六月初開班；Winnie Ho及 Winnie Ye 導師各班皆延續至九月份 (因她們於九月中起放假三週；属下各班開課日期；另行通知)

 Dodo 及 Maria 導師各班亦延續至耆暉會九月份新學期開課前一星期為止。 本年度新增為65+長者而設的 Gold 班排舞；烈治文山各班將於六月底完結；並於九月二日(星期二) 開課。其他各班繼續上課。

本年度活動及社區慈善参予: ~

The Open Market " Dance For A Legend" 十二小時舞動全城 ; 除當日主持1.5小時排舞外 ,並有各種舞蹈安排分享...，特為大會編撰了主題舞 "Pass It On"

各位同學:

[除Maria 導師於朗豪坊星期六的初班外] 本學期己於二十日(星期五)全部完結；聖誕舞会亦於二十日(星期五) 晚上於世紀酒樓舉行；當晚天氣欠隹；但同學們無懼冰暴，出席人數超愈200餘人，除特別要求加跳排舞外，連同即晚教授新舞 The Fox LineDance 和 Circle Of Love Train，在團隊導師:Dodo, Hilda, Maria, Vincee, Winnie Ho, Winnie Ye 帶領下超標完成愈80餘只排舞，各位皆熱熱鬧鬧地盡興迎接聖誕的來臨。

2014 年1月19日(星期日) 於世紀酒樓為本人慶生慈 善飧舞会，飱券每張43.- [ 飱券已全售罄 ] 除酒席成本開支外；悉數捐贈予耆暉会一站式服務中心建設用途；感謝各位一如過往；大力支持，如未暇出席 者；亦能慷慨隨緣樂助；福有悠歸，共襄善舉。

各位同學:

本人自2009年為導師訓練班而開设排舞初班後；迄今四年未有教授初班，因應部份學員要求，於本學期開设一日及一夜初班， 但本人明白所設時間或地點未必能適應各位初班同學的需 求.... 所以同時請查閱隨附的初班時間表內， 各導師 [有不同程度的初班 ]於不同地點和時間上課。

請注意：標準初班是為晉身排舞領域而設，主要學習有關排舞術語及跳舞技巧；有別於各類舞蹈班，亦與排 舞運動班和簡易排舞工作坊有很大差別。

《標準排舞初班課程簡介》：－

初學者 (Absolute Beginner)：- 沒有任何舞蹈背景、沒有任何音樂或舞蹈知識；開啟第一步。
級別：I - 了解基本步驟模式及初學步法學習簡單的各類不同舞蹈。

各位同學:

暑期各不同程度標準班將於八月十九日(星期一)全部完結。烈治文山星期四晚簡易排舞工作坊於八月二十九日(星期四)完結。 各初班應要求將繼續上課請参閱 (特別時間表), 我班與耆暉會繼續合辨排舞夜班, 提供不同上課地點、時間及程度以應各同學需要. 除極受歡迎的排舞運動班外, 本學期九月繼續開設日夜簡易排舞工作坊，讓己有二年排舞運動班或有小許经驗(以運動為原則) 的同學, 更進一步由我們團隊各導師與你分享排舞的樂趣。

各班第一堂開課日期如下:-

請注意耆暉會夜班為三季收費,每張收據提供註冊學員本人可免費參加灣景山社區中心復習舞會一次,不得轉讓。

日 前(26日)晚在士嘉堡富都名宴舉行的「Winnie Yu」舞出光明夜，我特別為今次籌款活動編撰一只排舞 "Merengue For Your Eyes" 為當晚表演，祝福寄意為視障者舞出光明；感謝團隊各老師和各班同學及義務提供音響的Tommy So; 她們再次在籌辦這類慈善活動上出錢出力, 成功為奧比斯(ORBIS)飛行眼科醫院籌得善款5,000元；並獲其代表 Ms.Caroline Huang 致送紀念品。

 再次感謝您們恆常的支持；讓我們『跳出愛心；舞出善金』造福社羣。

Dear Students,

All summer classes will end on Aug 19 (Monday) with exception for Thursday night's EZ LD Workshop held at Richmond Hills ends on Aug 29 (Thursday). In response to high demand on Beginner class(refer to Special Schedule), my team will continue work with Carefirst to offer Line Dance Classes at different location, time (day and evening) and level for your choice. Beside the most popular DancExercise, we will continue  to offer day and evening time EZ Line Dance Workshop on upcoming September schedule, which allows people with two year DancExercise or other Exercise experience, to come and share with my team instructor the fun of Line Dancing.

 First day of each Line Dance classes are as follows:-

  • Tuesday, September 3 --- Dancepooh Class. Schedule.
  • Wednesday, September 4 --- Carefirst Scarborough Evening Class. Flyer.
  • Tuesday, September 24 --- Carefirst Evening Class. Schedule.
  • Friday, September 6 --- Pooh's Class. 
  • Monday, September 9 --- Dancepooh Richmond Hill DancExercise. 
  • Tuesday, September 10 --- Dancepooh Richmond Hill EZ-Line-Dance-Workshop. 

Please note, Carefirst Evening Classes are offered in 3 terms (Sep-Dec, Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun), each Carefirst class receipts allow the registered student to enjoy one free admission to Dance Review Party hold at Bayview Hill Community Centre, and receipts are non-transferrable. 

My latest dance "Merengue For Your Eyes" was dedicated and performed on the recent charity event (Winnie Yu 舞出光明夜) held at REGAL Chinese Cuisine & Banquet Hall on July 26. I would like to thanks all participants, my team instructors, all  students, voluntary DJ Tommy So, in supporting this meaningful event. Together we have successfully raised CAD$5,000 for ORBIS and presented with a pledge from ORBIS representative Ms.Caroline Huang.

Thanks again for your usual support, we "Dance for FunD" !

各位同學:

2013 年1月20日(星期日) 是本人正日的生辰，並慶祝於2009 年成立的『加拿大華人排舞協會』五週年誌慶；當晚於世紀酒樓舉行慈善飧舞会，到會嘉賓，同學及好友達230餘人;

團隊導師及同學們特別獻上精彩舞蹈表演 1 & 表演 2 .... 晚宴扣除酒席支出，50/50 現金抽獎及各班同學的捐欵等... 承蒙各位大力支持下總數籌得善款$4,720元, 團隊各老師發心捐出善款$280元，併合總數$5,000元正，悉數捐贈予耆暉会一站式服務中心建設用途。並獲嘗暉會會長何志立律師出席並頒贈嘉許狀，善 款支票頒贈儀式亦於當晚舉行。在此特別嗚謝各位的参予；本人謹致以萬二分謝意。

本人將於三月二號回港渡假，假期內將安排各夜班由三位導師: -Dodo W. , Maphine S. & Winnie Ho代課；(日班暫停) 請查閱各班於 (Mar - Apr..) 的安排及( Apr.-June) 開課時間表及 Ria的工作坊跳舞列表，屬下日夜各班將於復活節假期後四月十五號(星期 一) 開課。

Dear Students,

On January 20, 2013 (Sunday), I celebrated both my birthday and the 5th anniversary of the Canadian Chinese Line Dance Association (established in 2009) at the Century Palace Restaurant with more than 230 guests.

My team instructors together with some students persented very special dance performance 1 & performance 2 for me. A total of $5,000 was raised and donated to Carefirst Foundation, letter of appreciation were presented by President of Carefirst Foundation (Mr. Ho Chi Lap) to all participants. A quick donation cheque presentation ceremony was also held during the party. I would like to express my gratitude to all particpants and donors.

I will be going back to HongKong for vacation starting March 3, 2013.  All my day-time classes will be cancelled, and all my evening classes will be handled by my team instructors :- Dodo W, Winnie Ho and Maphine S. Please refer to my class schedule for (Mar-Apr) for details & Ria's Workshop dance list. My classes for (Apr-Jun) will be commenced after Easter Holiday on April 15, 2013 (Monday).

本學期將於廿一日(星期五) 全部完結；聖誕舞会於廿三日(星期日) 於太古金皇朝酒樓舉行；飱劵於十月底己全部售罄；因場地有限 , 特別向部份未能(購票)出席的同學致歉。

Dear Students,

All Classes for this term will be completed on December 21 (Friday). 2012 Dancepooh’s Christmas party will be held on December 23 @ Golden Regency Restaurant. All tickets were sold out since end of October. Due to limited floor space, do accept my apology if you did not get ticket for the event.

January 20, 2013 (Sunday) will be my birthday, and to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Canadian Chinese Line Dance Association established on 2009. Charity Line Dance party will be held at Century Palace Chinese Restaurant, $48 per ticket, (please contact your Class Instructor). All proceedings will be donated to Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association. Your usual support on this fund raising event will be much appreciated.

[Special thanks to Mr Tommy So and his team for Audio & Lighting equipment and DJ service support on the event.]

*My objective on establishing this (Ontario registered) non-profitable organisation is to promote Line Dancing activity in our communities; with the support of my team members, more and more residents in Richmond Hill area have been enjoying our DancExercise and EZ-Line-Dace-Workshop. With public acclaims and demands, plan to extend to other community.

YOUTUBE stars Yvonne & Vivian and Winnie & Dodo were dancin' on the floor constantly ...ladies a HUGE thank you for all the hard work you all do to keep all of us on the dance floor. My students won't learn a dance unless a youtube is available. Youtube teachers have changed the pace of line dance for the BETTER. We are so GRATEFUL. )

The winning dance this year - Windy City Waltz , was such a masterpiece in my personal opinion. During the event，we attended the Baby Shower of Debbie McLaughlin，congratulations to her little daughter expected on December.

各位同學及善長:

今年我們再次獲安省心 臟及中風基金會邀請, 於五月廿六日(星期六)希爾頓酒店年度籌款慈善晚會為大會表演嘉賓, 為此本人特別編撰三只排舞: - 1) Let's Protect Our Heart 2) We Dance For Your Heart 3) A Little Tango For FunD為籌款主要表演項目, 大會首創安排[ 由我們 ] 該晚會以排舞揭幕﹐帶動熱鬧氣氛.... 當晚冠蓋雲集﹐到會嘉賓政要逾600人参予這年度籌款活動。

我們成功籌得善款加幣壹萬壹仟元正。[去年亦為心臟及中風基金會籌款﹐籌得善款加幣壹萬元 ] , 並定於六月二日(星期六) 為慶祝舞會, 並頒發感謝狀予各位表演及義工同學。

除表演同學外 , 特別嗚謝下列各位參予是次活動攝影、 攝錄製作、設計制服、上載、揭幕領舞等義務工作:- Bobby Yeung , CM Shum , Connie Mak , Dodo Wong , Orson Ho , Winky Lee & Winnie Ho 。

本學期於六月十五日全部課堂完結。暑期班由六月二十日(星期三)開始，請留意各班不同的開課日期。因社區中心 暑假安排學童夏令營關係，暑假期內將不設日間排舞運動班, 夜班則開兩班 於烈治文山 Langstaff Community Center. 六月廿八日(星期四) 晚7:00 p.m. 開課。

二月廿六日慶祝本人推廣排舞十五週年慈善舞會， 到會嘉賓，同學及好友達200餘人。 並獲加拿大糖尿病協會Senior Manger, Major & Legacy Gifts – Ms. Lori Sussman出席並頒贈嘉許狀。 扣除酒席支出，50/50 現金抽獎及各班同學的捐贈…總數籌得善款$4,740元，Winnie Ho老師發心捐出善款$260元， 併合總數 (是次舞會籌得) $5,000元正，在此謹向各位致以萬二分感謝。

因本人將於三月一號回港渡假，故此善款頒贈儀式將於四月舉行。 為答謝同學們的支持，持二月廿六日慈善舞會席券可免費到三月十日或三十一日(星期六)Bayview Hill C.C. 舞會一次。 本人假期內各班代課詳情，屬下各班於復活節假期後11號(星期三) 開課。

  • 過往十三年，本人皆以慈善為慶生主旨，亦獲您們的支持及各界的和應，以不同形式為各慈善機構略盡綿力，共同回饋社會。今年因沒有 目標關係，故取消此項活動。 導師們於一月七日(本年度定期的) 第一次星期六排舞夜當晚備生日蛋糕預祝本人生日，並慶祝新年的來臨，感謝各同學的 關注，歡迎各位光臨。
  • 我們很高興再次獲邀於農曆新年一月廿八日(年初六) 星期六於萬錦市市政廳「賀龍滙」為表演嘉賓。

In the absence of target for fund raising, my birthday party for this year was cancelled, thanks for your concerns. Instead, a birthday cake will be presented to me by my team instructors, at my very first Saturday Night Line Dance Party on Jan 7, 2012.   • I am pleased to be invited again in the ‘Markham Chinese New Year Celebration 2012’ to be held on Jan 28 at Markham Civic Center, for Line Dancing performance.
  • My ‘15 years Celebration Charity Line Dance Party’ will be held at Golden Regency Restaurant on Feb 26 (Sun). With your usual support, net proceed will be donated to Canadian Diabetes Association. There will be a 50/50 draw ($5 for 3 tickets, $10 for 7 tickets) set within the party. Dear Students:

  • All Summer Classes were completed on August 20 (Saturday). 
  • On upcoming new September term, DancePooh combined with Carefirst will open Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Classes for a total of 46 classes at different location, time (day and night), instructor for your choice. 
  • In addition to their hard work within class, special thanks to team instructors: Winnie Ho, Winnie Ye, Samantha Yeung and Dodo Wong, for their dedication on performing and uploading “Dance Demo and Walk Through” to YouTube. This provides an excellence reference and convenience to our students, for after-class review, to improve our group level and learn new things. 
  • During whole month of September, numerous “Open House” classes (including new day-time DancExercise session) will be arranged. All new and old students are welcome, please come and share with us the fun of Line Dancing.

心臟及中風基金會(華人分會)五月廿八日(星期六)於喜來登酒店舉辦年度心 聲 慈 善 晚會，我們團隊導師及同學獲邀為大會表演嘉賓之一，是晚冠蓋雲集，到會政要各界嘉賓共五百人，感謝各位的支持， 成功為大會籌 得善款壹萬元正，並獲 頒發感謝狀予每位表演者。

我們收到 ”Dance for Dream Fund” 的鳴謝函件(十二月, 二 月)，為 Jo Thompson 兩次舞會為醫療基金籌得 US$5,900。

"Sing for Your Heart" Fund raising gala for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario was held on May 28 at Sheraton Hotel. Myself, my team members and students had the honor on performing line dancing in the gala. Over 500 guests including General Assembly and Community Leader were attended. With all your support, we have raised $10,000 for the event. “Certificate of Appreciation” from HSFO has been presented to every one of our performers. 

I have recently received a “Letter of Appreciation”(Dec2010, Feb2011) from “Dance for Dream Fund” for our donation of US$5,900 to Jo Thompson. 

Again, thanks for your usual support to all my charity events !

各位同學：

我們於去年底聖誕及一月的生日舞會共籌得US$5,900 善欵己全數滙予 "Dancing for The Dream Fund" Jo Thompson醫療基金。Jo 於去年底血癌復發....她接受兄長的骨髓移值後己完全康復(Video)。加拿大血液服務中心(www.onematch.ca) 於3月26日(星期六)為全 球幹細胞及骨髓捐贈日，目前很多病患者等待適合的捐贈者....所以懇請 各位支持及傳遞此訊息，"盡一分力，救人一命"，祈望更多人像Jo般幸運。

4月3日(星期日)為 本學期(六月前)最後一次初級排舞舞會，請參閱收據用途表(附表)及Dance List(持1月23日本 人生日舞會票尾可免費入塲)。

本人於2009年及2010年均獲華諮處及耆暉會提名盼予安省十年義工獎.... 今年三度由孟嘗會提名於3月底再獲安省十年義工獎。一如過往，我樂願與各位 分享這份在社區中的榮譽....並定於4月17日(星期日)於太古金皇朝酒樓舉行慶祝舞會(Level II+ 至 IV)，請聯絡各導師購票。

Dear Students:

A total of US$5,900 was raised from last year’s Christmas Party and my birthday party in January; fund has been deposited onto Jo Thompson’s “Dancing for the Dream Fund” medical fund. Since the relapse of Aplastic Anemia later last year, Jo is now under full recovery after accepted her brother's bone marrow transplant (video). On March 26 (Saturday), Canadian Blood Services Centre (www.onematch.ca) has organized the “Registration Event for Onematch, In Honor of Kristina” for founding compatible stem cell and marrow donor. Currently there are 800 other patients like Kristina in Canada, awaiting of an unrelated donor, so please “Make an effort, Save a Life”, hope more people as lucky as Jo.

Last session of Sunday EZ Beginner Line Dance Workshop will be held on April 3 (refer to usage table of Class Fee Receipt). Dance List (holder of January 23 birthday party ticket stub, admission free).

On 2009 and 2010, I was nominated by CICS and CareFirst as a recipient of Ontario Volunteer Award for 10 years. For the third times this year, I was nominated by MonSheong to receiving the Ontario Volunteer Award for 10 years at end of March. As in the past, I would like to share with you my joy on this honor in the community… a celebration dance (Level II + to IV) and dinner party will be held on April 17 (Sunday) at Golden Regency Restaurant, please contact class Instructor for ticket.

My team Instructor Winnie Ho has co-organized a Seventies birthday celebration dance (Level I - II) party for her student Winnie Cheung, on April 24 (Sunday) at Golden Regency Restaurant. All students are welcome, please contact Winnie Ho and Winnie Cheung for ticket and dance list.

Annual Fund Raising Gala for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario will be held on May 28 (Saturday) at Sheraton Hotel, Toronto North. Dear Students:

Classes for this term were resumed on Jan 3 (Monday), please refer to flyers on “Beginner Class - Open House” I have arranged.

It was my greatest honor that my recent dance - "Little Foxtrot" has been selected by Linedancer Magazine as one of dance published in the January 2011 issue, it has been  reached Teaching Survey No. 8 since December. My other dance - "Little Mockin' Bird Cha" just reached Beginner dance chart No. 29 / 50  as of December 15, 2010, I am delighted to share my joy with you.

One of my team instructor - Ms. Dodo Wong has delivered an early birthday gift to me, a brand new web site – www.dancepooh.ca. For the convenience of all my students, she has been maintaining my Event Calendar web – www.winnieyu.ca up to date, I would like to thanks her and her family for their great support !

Thank you for all your support, the December 18 Christmas party was a big success, raised $ 2,300 and donated to Jo Thompson’s "Dancing for the Dream Fund", you may refer to news coverage on Ming Pao and Today Commercial News. 我 班及 耆暉會，孟嘗會合 辨的排舞各班相繼開課，本學期開辨多個初班皆受初學者歡迎。我們於九月十九日己舉辦了第一次初班排舞工作坊，到會者300餘人皆盡興一個晚上，第二次舉辦 日期於十月十七日（星期日） Dancelist， 歡迎各同學及各界舞友參加。

九月十日（星期五）於富都名宴舉行『楓情舞匯』 乃舞蹈界盛事，大會除邀請於世界獲獎無數的意大利舞蹈家 Paolo Bosc & Silvia Pitton 首次光臨多倫多外，尚有本地享負拉丁及標準舞界盛名的表演嘉賓，為大會600餘來賓表演國際拉丁及標準舞，舞者舞技精湛，舞衣華麗，令人目不暇給，大開眼 界……本人十分榮幸，獲邀為此盛會表演嘉賓之一，同塲演譯本人得獎及流行作品之四： Summer Wine, Little Mockin’ Bird Cha, EZ Merengue, EZ Rumba。 並與團隊導師： Dodo, Hilda, Maphine, Maria, Samantha, Vincee, Winnie Ho, Winnie Ye 和各同學獲此珍貴而難得的參予機會：表演及帶領排舞環節，獲益良多，與有榮焉！願與各同學分享我們的喜悅。

Dear fellow students and friends,

Welcome to all students who have joined our line dance classes this term - classes that co-organized with Carefirst and Mon Sheong as well as led by our team instructors.

Pooh Team’s first EZ Beginner Line Dance Workshop has been held on Sept 19. More than 300 participants have enjoyed themselves a night of line dancing and excitements. Our next EZ Workshop has been scheduled on Sunday, October 17, all students and dancing friends are welcome to join this workshop.

A grand ballroom dance gala, the Dance Extravaganza, was held in last month of Sept 10.  Famous awards-winning Italian dancers, Bosco Paolo and Pitton Silvia were invited  to launch their first appearance in Toronto that night. The organizer has also invited many renowned Latin and Standard Dance performing guests from Toronto to showcase their talents to the audience of more than 600. I have the greatest honour having been invited to perform in the line dancing session of this gala, I led and demonstrated four of my choreographed dances, Summer Wine, Little Mockin’ Bird Cha, EZ Merengue, EZ Rumba.  Our team instructor Dodo, Hilda, Maphine, Maria, Samantha, Vincee, Winnie Ho, Winnie Ye and students joined me to perform in this precious opportunity.

The Mon Sheong Telethon - Mon Sheong Foundation co-organized with Fairchild TV was broadcasted on Sunday Sept 19. TV audience have had a chance to see the “Sit and Dance” program in progress, showing our instructors leading seniors to exercise. Some of our team instructors and I will be participating in the Windy City line dancing workshop October 7 to 11 in Chicago. Please see the dates for holiday in my class schedules.

Next year on April 9, Vivienne Scott & Fred Buckley will organize a one-day line dance workshop in Toronto. Our Team instructors and I have registered to attend this workshop.  If you are interested, please download form and submit your own fees and registration.

  • 4 Saturdays, Oct 30 (Halloween), Nov 20, Dec 4 & Dec 18 (Christmas) --- Saturday Night Line Dance Party Time: 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm (4 hours)
  • 2 Sundays, September 19 and October 17 --- EZ Line Dance Workshop for beginners Time 7:30 to 10:30 pm.(3 hrs)
  • Our Team Instructor, Maria Miu, will leave the country for Hong Kong for family reunion end of September. Please join us at the Farewell Party on Friday, Aug 27 at Golden Regency Restaurant.
  • Our 2 Team Instructors, Sindy Li and Cindy Ng, have resigned from Pooh's Team, effective end of August.
  • Sindy Li will start her own line dancing classes in September. She can be reached by email: wondersindyli@gmail.com, phone: 647-348-0628 or Cell: 416-399-9962.
  • Sindy has been one of our Team's experienced and professional instructors for years, please continue to tender your usual support to her as if you have been doing so to Pooh's Team. Students from Saturday Fantasy Studio classes will be offered the option to be transferred to Sindy's new class, keeping the same original dancing contents. She will continue to teach and be in-charge in this class.

I also want to express my sincere wishes to all instructors I have mentioned above all the best in their future endeavours in Line Dancing.

各位同學,

『楓 情舞滙』為一大型標準及 拉丁餐舞會(到會嘉賓超愈600人), 主辦单位豐運娛樂重 金禮聘獲獎無數知名舞蹈家 Paolo Bosc & Silvia Pitton 蒞臨本城表演(同場尚有多隊加拿大獲奬的標準、拉丁、排 舞 嘉賓表演)。晚會於九月十日(星期五/服裝:黑西裝領帯)於富都名宴舉行。每席10位連中式晚餐,票價分三種:
$980(己售罄); $880(尚餘小量);$780(現出售中)。

大會於下午5:30安排的排舞時段,本人榮幸參予此舞蹈界盛事,並被邀請帶領及表演。如閣下有興趣此舞會及購票,請向班內導師查詢或電 郵、致電本人。

Dear students,

Danza Extravaganza, a great Ballroom and Latin Dancing Gala, organized by BCNS Entertainment & Production on Friday, September 10 (black tie) at the Regal Chinese Cuisine & Banquet Hall. The organizer has invited Paolo Bosc & Silvia Pitton, renowned world professional dancers and multi-award recipients, to join the night as performing guests. They have also invited other award winning Canadian Ballroom, Latin as well as Line Dancing teams to perform in this party. It is expected that more than 600 participants will join this event.

Gala Dinner Tickets will be sold per table (10 guests per table), serving full course Chinese cuisine: $980 (all sold out); $880 (limited tickets available); $780 (on sale now).

I have the honour to be invited to perform and lead line dances in this great event; line dancing session will start from 5:30 pm. Please come to join this event and purchase your tickets from your class instructors, or contact me by email or phone.

Dances to be performed by me that night : Summer Wine, + Little Mocking Bird Cha or EZ Rumba.

Students who participate in this dinner gala are welcome to perform with our instructors and me on stage together.(prior sign up is required).
